TDSS Students Explore Career Pathways at Alamos Gold – Young-Davidson Mine

We extend our sincere thanks to Alamos Gold – Young-Davidson Mine for welcoming students from TDSS for an engaging and informative tour of their operations. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to see firsthand the scale and complexity of modern mining, while learning about the many career pathways available within the sector.

Charity Basketball Game

The Timmins Police Service faced off against students from R. Ross Beattie Senior Public School in a charity basketball game that showcased teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit. The event collected food donations for the local food bank, helping support families in need while bringing students and police together for a great cause.

The Nova Program

The Nova Program is being recognized for its outstanding achievements in Special Olympics. We are also celebrating a new partnership between the Nova Program and the Iroquois Falls Storm, who are working together to support Nova students in future Special Olympics events and to raise funds for outfits and uniforms.

Carolling Food Drive

Our annual carolling food drive on Friday was filled with music, generosity, and holiday spirit, and thanks to our amazing community we collected a wonderful amount of food for those in need. All donations were proudly given to the Salvation Army Food Bank. Thank you to our neighbourhood for helping make the season brighter for many families.
