Looking Ahead: 2025-2029 Strategic Plan

The Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of education within District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1). One of its key responsibilities is creating and implementing a multi-year strategic plan.

The strategic plan provides a clear and actionable roadmap that outlines the vision, priorities and actions for the years to come. In DSB1, the strategic plan is a framework for decision-making and resource allocation.  It is also an accountability tool for measuring progress, evaluating outcomes and reporting back to our communities.

As we approach the term of our current strategic plan, it is time to look ahead and identify new priorities and actions that will address student needs and foster welcoming learning spaces for the years to come.

The Board of Trustees has initiated a process for creating the new strategic plan, as outlined below.  We look forward to sharing more details with staff, students, families and communities as we progress.
